Policies and Procedures

1. Please note:

We do not diagnose or treat injury, illness, disease or any other physical or mental disorders. Any information imparted by the therapist in the course of treatment should not be construed as such. It is recommended that you see a qualified professional for any conditions you may have concern for.

2. Booking

We require a 25% booking fee for all services, this is NOT in addition to your service charge, it is included (ie. If you owe $100, you pay $25 to book and $75 the day of your appointment).

3. Cancellation

We ask that when needing to cancel/reschedule an appointment please do so with at least a 24 hour notice.In the case of an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule the appointment. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or no-showing your appointment will result in a $100 fee before being allowed to rebook. Clients who fail to show for appointments will also be required to pre-pay for future services. A “no-show” appointment will void a gift certificate or a package pricing and will be charged the $100 to the credit card on file.

4. Late arrivals

If you arrive late, you maybe required to reschedule your appointment or your session may be shortened in order to accommodate our other appointments. Full payment for your session will be required before completing the service.

5. Gift certificates

Gift certificates may be purchased for any dollar amount and must be presented at the time service is rendered. Gift certificates are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash. The purchase of a gift certificate does not guarantee an appointment and all appointments are subject to availability. We urge all gift certificate bearers to schedule their appointments as soon as possible upon receipt.

6. Returned checks

There will be a $50 fee for any checks that are returned by the bank (for non-sufficient funds).

7. Cell phones

We want to focus on you during your session. For that reason, we ask that you turn your cell phone on silent or off during your appointment.

8. Children

Please arrange childcare prior to your appointment. We are unable to accommodate due to the area we work in. If you bring your child (children), you will be required to reschedule and this will be considered a no show or cancellation fee with less than 24 hour notice (resulting in payment).

9. Sickness

If a client presents with signs and/or symptoms of illness that contraindicates a service (fever, undiagnosed rash, contagious infection), the session will be rescheduled. This is to protect the health of both the client and the therapist.

10. Service will be canceled if:

·     You have a contagious illness: including colds, flu, rashes, etc.

·     Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

·     If the client’s needs are beyond the scope ofour practice.

11. Considerations for clients who are minors:

We give special consideration to clients who are under the age of 18.

·     Clients between 15 and 18 years old mustpresent written permission from their parents or guardian prior to their firstservice.

·     Clients under 15 years old must have a parentor guardian present at all times.

12. Privacy

All client files are confidential except when subpoenaed by a court of law. The conversations you have with your therapist will remain confidential. Client lists and email lists are confidential. We do not share our client lists with outside companies.
